Musandam Mineral & Industrial Co (MMIC) has its mining and processing facility strategically located in Khasab, on Oman’s Musandam Peninsula – adjacent to busy shipping lanes in the Arabian Gulf. The joint venture company was established by Towell Group in 2000 for the purpose of developing an integrated quarry to serve the GCC region. Today, MMIC produces high quality grey limestone, aggregate crushed sand, armor rock, and run-off quarry materials of various sizes. The company leverages its prime location in the Middle East, as quarry products can be loaded directly onto sea-going vessels from Khasab for distribution to regional markets.
